Where information comes from
| Source | How Atlas connects | What the AI can receive |
|---|---|---|
| Jobber | Directly, through one of Atlas’s own Jobber apps or your company’s own Jobber developer app | Everything Jobber offers, files and photos included |
| Other apps (Gmail, QuickBooks and more) | Through Composio, with accounts your company or each person connects | Whatever the chosen action returns, content and files included |
| You | What you type and attach in chats that use Atlas | Your requests, files you ask Atlas to save, and what you ask it to keep in the brief or your note |
Atlas sends app data to the AI only to answer requests in a chat. App text and images are data, never instructions. Atlas never asks for passwords or keys in chat, and sees only chats that call it.
Who sees what
- Each person sees what their role and access allow.
- Atlas staff act in chat only for a company they select, under the same approval rules, and read every recorded call in full to support you. The owner sees what they did on History, under Atlas staff.
What Atlas records
| Information | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Every call through Atlas: who, when, app, action, request, result and approval | To show what happened and never send twice | Forever, encrypted, after closure too |
| Files Atlas moves between apps | So a change can attach them; only the person who saved a file can use it | Encrypted, while the company exists |
| App connections and their keys | To keep connections working | Encrypted, while the company exists |
| Company brief and notes | Context for every chat | Every version, forever |
| Company, people, roles and sign-ins | Access control | While the company exists; minimal records after closure |
Controls
- Every change needs approval on a card, unless its action has Always allow. Sends, deletes, payments, invitations, sharing and transfers always need the card.
- Anyone can turn Always allow off. The owner, or a manager with access, turns changes off for shared accounts; you do for your personal ones.
- Disconnect an app in chat or on Apps.
Service providers
ChatGPT (or your chat app) receives the results the AI asks for. Jobber, Composio and your apps process requests. Auth0 handles sign-in. Atlas hosts the rest itself.
Pausing and closing
Pausing stops chat and website saves, except removing people, withdrawing invitations and turning changes off; connections are kept. Closing ends every sign-in and chat connection and removes Atlas’s Jobber access. Apps connected through Composio stay authorized until you remove Atlas in each app’s settings.
