| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including manager roles and access |
| Manager | Invites employees, sets their access, connects shared apps and sets their switches |
| Employee | Uses the accounts they’re given and connects personal apps |
Connect your apps
Ask Atlas in chat, for example “Connect my Gmail”. You connect your own personal apps; the owner or a manager connects shared ones. Switches are on Apps.
- Shared accounts belong to the company; People sets who uses each account. The owner uses every account unless they untick it there for themself.
- Personal accounts are ones you connect and manage.
You may connect several accounts of one app. Pick your default in chat or on Apps; the company default covers people who haven’t picked. Atlas follows clear cues in the chat, then your default, then the company default or your only account, and asks when none applies. Every card shows its account.
Jobber is one shared connection. The owner or a manager selects Connect Jobber on Apps; Atlas supplies the Jobber app. A company that prefers its own Jobber developer app saves it there under Use your own Jobber app instead. Jobber access shows everything in Jobber, money included.
Ask and approve
Reads run straight away, unless the owner or a manager turns an app’s reads off on Apps; then Atlas reads nothing from that app, personal accounts included, until reads are back on.
Atlas shows a card for every change. Approve does exactly what the card shows, once. Decline sends nothing. Typing “yes” never approves. If a change didn’t go out, the card may offer Retry once.
Always allow
Some cards offer Always allow for that action on that account. It’s never offered for sending, deleting, money, invites or sharing. End it in chat, or turn off Always allow on Apps, which ends every Always allow it covers.
When Atlas can’t tell
Atlas never re-sends a change whose result is unclear. It checks once, then the card asks you to check the app and answer. Until then, changes through that account are paused; other accounts and apps keep working. Unanswered after 4 hours, it goes to Atlas staff.
Brief and notes
The company brief is plain text every chat reads; the owner and managers edit it in chat or on Brief & notes. Your note is read in your chats and Atlas can update it there; you, the owner and Atlas staff can read it. Ask Atlas for its company interview, customer briefing or follow-up review guide. Atlas can pass your feedback to Atlas staff.
History
History lists the changes you approved and the ones that ran automatically, with who, when and what happened. The owner sees everyone’s, and what Atlas staff did. Times use your company’s time zone, set by the owner on People, where the owner can also change the company name.
If something stops working
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Wrong company or account | Sign in with Use a different account and your invited email |
| ChatGPT signs in but Atlas doesn’t connect | Atlas says why in chat. Used another login? Add it with Add another sign-in in your account menu |
| Invitation expired or used | Ask for a new one; if you already joined, just sign in |
| An app account stopped working | Ask Atlas in chat to reconnect it; the owner or a manager reconnects shared ones |
| Jobber shows Reconnect or Connection problem | The owner or a manager reconnects it on Apps (a company on its own Jobber app saves it again); otherwise Atlas staff have been told |
| Connect Jobber says Atlas is adding capacity | Atlas staff have been told; select Connect Jobber again later |
| Changes through one account are paused | Answer the card that asks whether a change happened |
| Atlas is paused for your company | Atlas staff paused it; chat and saving are off until they resume |
| No card, or no buttons | Only ChatGPT approves changes; ask Atlas for the change again there |
| Another chat app says it isn’t allowed | ChatGPT is always on. The owner allows another app on People, under Other apps; it can only read |
| Photos in Jobber are missing | Atlas reads images on notes, not a quote’s Images section |
Removing Atlas from ChatGPT doesn’t disconnect your apps.
